Christian Monzon, born May 23, 1978 in Brooklyn, New York, is an American male model and actor. Christian's modeling career began when a talent scout approached him while he was shopping in a department store in Beverly Hills. Monzon was introduced to an agent at Next Models LA and was later signed by IMG Models New York. The early assignments available to Christian were mostly ramp shows for American brand names associated with hip-hop, which has made him a regular for Sean John, Fubu and Nautica. However, he had been overlooked by some of the European fashion houses due to his image and the compromises that he wouldn't make to meet their demands. Christian's rise to the top of his profession suddenly came in the year of 2002. First, being selected as the spokes model of Versace Sport. He is then featured on the cover of Out magazine and the inside spreads. And Christian finally got the interest and recognition from designers and American public that he deserves. Christian's hot streak continues on with his spokes model roles in H&M campaign, Dolce & Gabbana underwear campaign, and the latest Dolce & Gabbana perfume. Christian is still regarded as one of the under-rated models nowadays, but his popularity in the male modeling business is growing constantly. A list of campaigns and runway walks under his belt, including Versace, H&M, Dolce & Gabbana, Krizzia Uomo, EXTE, Nautica, Sean John and Fubu, well proves the high demand for his booty. Realizing that he wouldn't be a pretty face and body forever, Christian is moving his career toward acting. He's made TV appearances in several shows such as: The Closer, CSI: Miami, Huff, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. In 2005, he was featured in Mariah Carey's "Don’t Forget About Us" video.
