VIVEK OBEROI


 



Vivek Anand Oberoi or Viveik Oberoi (born 3 September 1976) is a Bollywood actor. He is the son of Bollywood actor Suresh Oberoi. Vivek Oberoi made his debut in Ram Gopal Varma's hit film Company. He received Filmfare Awards for the Best Debut as well as the Best Supporting Actor categories. He then starred in the action films, Road and Dum. He starred alongside Rani Mukerji in Yash Raj Films' Saathiya (2002) directed by Shaad Ali, which went on to become a hit. He also starred in the comic film Masti (2004) along with Aftab Shivdasani and Ritesh Deshmukh which was a box office hit. He then starred in the film Yuva. In 2006, he appeared in Omkara an adaptation of Shakespeare's play Othello. He played the character of Kesu based on the character Michael Cassio in the original play. In 2007, he acted as the gangster Maya Dolas in the multi-starred Shootout at Lokhandwala. In 2008, Vivek Oberoi starred in a film called Mission Istanbul which was directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced by Ekta Kapoor. In 2009 he co-starred alongside Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in Kurbaan.
