I am thrilled to feature the magnificent Ivan Scannell! His body of work (no pun intended) is so vast that Ivan will be featured in several posts.
Stunning Ivan is an International Australian fashion model and athlete. He is from Sydney, NSW but is currently in the US working on his modelling career.
He was born on 11 November 1985.
But Ivan isn’t just a pretty face! He has established two flourishing companies: a psychology practice, Sydney Psychology & Wellbeing and International Opulence a niche consulting firm, which consults exclusively to health clubs and personal trainers.
Ivan is also a professional track sprinter and he is training to represent Australia in the London 2012 Olympic Games.
With his ongoing success and well established networks Ivan will be looking to expand his companies globally in 2010 and he is developping his own fashion label.
Ivan got his first break in modelling when he was crowned Australia Mr. Supermodel in 2006, but he didn’t pursue a career at the time as he was focussing on completing his Accounting/Corporate Law degree.
It really started for him at the beginning of 2010 when a photographer asked if he could take some body shots. Ivan quickly started getting great exposure. He recently worked in LA, NYC and Miami. Ivan plans to relocate to the UK for his modelling career in 2011.
Since then he has worked with some of the top photographers and designers in the fashion industry and built an impressive and extensive portfolio.
Ivan loves being fit. He normally trains about 6 to 8 hours a week. He says that when he trains it is very intense and he has learnt that training your mind is just as important as training your body.
Ivan was featured in editorials, runway shows and high fashion campaign both in the USA and Australia. Some of the brands that Ivan has worked with include: 2Xist Underwear, Beach Life California, American Crew, Manta BodyBoards, Brands Exclusive. He was also featured in magazines such as GQ, Australian gay mag AXN May 2010, French gay mag Sensitif May 2010, New York gay guide NEXT April 2010 & InStyle Magazine. He also featured in Australian DNA Mag online in March 2010.

In his free time, Ivan enjoys surfing, playing his beloved guitar and saxophone. He loves sport. He has played soccer and tennis.
