Arthur Sales (born 1991 in Sao Paulo, Brazil) is a Brazilian model, best known as the face of Butch Swimwear and Armani Exchange.
From the early age, Sales always wanted to be a lawyer. Right out of high school, he entered a Law School on a small sum of money. Not long after that, a friend, who's also a model, convinced him to try modeling. He was skeptical at first and knew nothing about the modeling industry, but figured it might be a great way to help pay off his student loans. His friend presented him to EPModels and everything begun.
His first was photoshoot for clothing catalogs. Then in 2009, he landed the spring DSquared² ad campaign and walked the runway for them. After that he has walked for many top fashion shows such as Enrico Coveri, Bottega Veneta, Romain Kremer, Mik Cire, Phillip Lim, Gilded Age, Gant by Michael Bastian, Victor Glemaud, Commonwealth Utilities, Frankie Morello, Iceberg, Ermanno Scervino, Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano, Boss Black, Gilded Age, Marlon Gobel, Dolce & Gabbana, Corneliani, Dirk Bikkembergs, Perry Ellis, Best New Designers in America, Sergio Davila and Malan Breton.
He also became the face of Butch swimwear, in which he was photographed opposite singer Shakira for Vanity Fair. Besides that he has featured in top fashion magazines such as Moda Agreste's, L'Officiel Hommes, Style, Made In Brazil, Varon, Numero, Details, Vanity Teen and Visual Tales.
Additionally, Sales has appeared in advertising campaigns such as Henry Cotton's, Collezioni, Smalto, Max Mara Elegante, American Eagle, Lincs DC & Co, Bershka, Class Cavalli and Xti.
