NATASHA POLY















Natalia Polevshchikova, generally shortened to Natasha Poly (born July 12, 1985), is a Russian model first discovered after winning a model search competition in Moscow. In 2004, she made her runway debut at the Emanuel Ungaro show. The year would prove to be her breakout year, walking for 54 fashion shows in cities like Milan, Paris, and New York City. Since 2004, Poly has appeared in many advertisement campaigns, including Gucci, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Roberto Cavalli, Sonia Rykiel, Nine West, and Dolce & Gabbana, and has also walked the runway for notable brands such as Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Gucci, Versace and Victoria's Secret. She has been on the cover of Vogue nineteen times. In 2008, she appeared in seven advertisement campaigns through the fall/winter 2008-2009 season (Nina Ricci, Jil Sander, Blumarine, Balmain, Cos, Tse, and Givenchy) and opened numerous runway shows in the spring/summer 2009 season, which led to her climbing into second place on the top 50 working models list on models.com as of January 2009. She is signed with Women Management in New York, Paris, and Milan; Select Model Management in London; Mega Model Agency in Hamburg; and Traffic Models in Barcelona. Russian Vogue dedicated the July 2008 issue to the top model. She appeared on the May 2009 cover of US Vogue and was touted as one of the Faces of the Moment and one of photographer Steven Meisel's muses. To date she has nineteen Vogue covers and has been the number one model on Fashion Television's 'First Face' countdown three times consecutively. Poly earns $70,000 a day shooting advertisements and $28,000 per runway show.
